Resource: BBC Booknotes

A really useful resouce: BBC Booknotes. On the BBC's GCSE Bitesize site you can read annotations (notes) on some of the poems / novels / plays studied on the Standard Grade and National Qualifications courses. You need to sign up to the site (it's free) and from there you can browse the books on offer, choose one you are studying (or reading for pleasure) and view the complete text along with helpful notes and explanations on themes, language, structure...

You can add your own annotations and save what you've added, allowing you to log in another time and pick up where you left off.
