I think it can be a good source of entertainment as there is programmes like the x-factor which gets millions of viewers and voters each saturday night
I think it is a good source of entertainment. Programmes like big brother, I’m a cleb get me out of here and the x-factor are good to watch and it gets the viewers involved by letting people vote for their favourite housemate or singer. It gives us something to talk about in everyday life As we can relate to it because it is normal people who are in the show, you can also put your opinion across by watching tv shows like BBlB and BBBM which also give updates on the show.
I think that reality TV programmes are a waste of space. Do we really want to watch people argue over who hasn't done the dishes (big brother,) or whos the next one hit wonder (pop idol). Most of the contestants in Pop Idol can't even sing. Those who do win normally only have one hit as everyone wants to hear if they are good. The reality programmes are all very monotonous after you've seen the first series. Big Brother was interesting to watch in the beginning but after watching the seven or eight series I began to get really bored.
Chloe Szafranek: I think reality TV is the best way of entertainment because you can see into peoples real lifes and what they do and facts about them. It is also very funny at sometimes like "X Factor" when people make a complete fool of themselves when they think they are excellent. "Big Brother" is also on the now and it is addicting because it is funny and watching people doing funny tasks. It is also a bad thing because it is addicting because BB is on for 3 months then you eventually turn into a TV bug!
I think reality tv is entertaining. Programmes like big brother, i'm a celeb and x factor are very popular and millions of people watch and vote on them.
They are more entertaining than normal tv shows that are on nearly every night like corrie and eastenders, which become boring. Wheras reality tv shows are always addictive.
When reality TV first made a large appearance on television with Popstars back in 2000 almost everyone thought it was brilliant, then after 2 short years hearsay the first “victims” of reality TV split up and a new scenario set up with channels copying each others ideas to try to get as many reality TV viewers as possible. My views are that reality TV is a waste of time and money and it is barely entertaining and hard to get away from with its 24-hour coverage.
reality tv is a good source of entertainment take big brother for example millions of people watch it everday and there r also ways to get your views across, if u go on it it gets u noticed and it also gives us something to talk about.
reality tv is a good source of entertainment and this is reflected by the amount of people who watch these types of programs like big brother and the X factor. Also on programs such as big brother it can help peoples confidence as people like Nadia who was on it felt she was accepted by the public when she won it.
I don't watch reality TV and so can't comment on it
I think reality tv is great to watch because you will always get a laugh. Programs like X Factor rake in millions of veiwers and also give unknown talent the chance to become famous.
I think reality t.v. has its good points and its bad. Good because it rakes in millions of viewers so it must be enjoyable to the population and it also gives people the chance to become famous. but bad because it is sometimes people watching contestants break down and go mental, also it i personally dont like the fact of being stuck in a house for 13 weeks with 24 live coverage and no private time or no clue about the outside world.
